Redeemer is hosting ESL classes with Denton ISD’s Adult Education & Literacy program as part of the Texas Workforce Commission to teach English to adults.
There are two Beginning Level classes at Redeemer. (Denton ISD has many other classes at various levels at other sites in our general area.)
ESL classes follow the Denton ISD school calendar: September 4, 2019 through May 20, 2020.
Registration is through Denton ISD and must be done in person. Call 940-369-0400 or 972-350-3481 to schedule an appointment.
CREW Youth Group meets on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the youth room at Redeemer.
All middle and high school students are welcome!
We play games, explore what it means to be a Christ-follower in our world through Biblical and topical studies, and participate in creative and service projects. This summer we are studying some of the major stories of the Bible. So come join us, have some fun, and maybe learn something new!
Harvest Community Garden is a member of Community Gardens of Carrollton. It is run by group of people from the community who grow organic produce for themselves and give half of what they grow to the food pantry at Christian Community Action.
They gather Saturday mornings to harvest produce and work in the garden.
Stop by and learn about what we do and sign up for one of our new plots!
The Harvest Community Garden will have its first meeting of the year in the Fellowship Hall at Redeemer.

Plots are 4′ x 20′ and only cost $40 for the year. You can also adopt a half plot for $20.
Harvests are on Saturday mornings.

What are services like?
Our worship service begins on Sunday at 10:45 a.m. and ends at around noon. The dress is somewhat casual. There is nursery care for newborns through age 2 and age appropriate worship for children ages 3 through the fifth grade. The typical worship service events flow like this:
- Warm welcome and opening song.
- Pastor’s welcome & a few announcements.
- A time to greet those around you.
- A time of praise & worship songs (praise, hymns, gospel, spiritual songs) accompanied by a band and led by a worship team.
- Scripture reading
- Biblical sermon
- Communion (open style) is on the first Sunday of each month.
- Closing song and benediction
Nursery/toddler care for infants (2 years and younger) and toddlers (2-4 years) is available from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Sunday mornings.
Elementary school age children begin with their parents in the worship service and are dismissed during the offertory to go to Children’s Church.
A “Cry Room” is also available at the back of the sanctuary for parents with fussy babies.
