Redeemer Family –
We want to keep you updated on our quest to resume in-person ministry at Redeemer.
Our church Council met via Zoom on June 29th. In June we had set July as a target date to resume in person worship on Sunday mornings at Redeemer.
However, there has been a significant increase in the spread of the virus in our area.
So, they decided to keep the church building closed through August 8. The next Council meeting to consider opening up for worship will be August 4th.
We have made strides in preparing to open. We have spaced out seating in the sanctuary, gathered disinfectant/cleaning supplies, put some policies in place (e.g. kitchen closed, no coffee bar, do not pass anything out).
We also have set up a Building Log for everyone who enters the building to sign in. We need first and last names and accurate contact information of everyone who enters, because we need to reach them in case someone tests positive for the virus.
We pray for the end to this pandemic and hope we can begin worshiping together in person soon. In the meantime, we continue to reach out with the love of Jesus.
