Read the missions bulletin board in the hallway by our fellowship hall to learn more about the work our missionaries are doing around the world.
Our coins say, “IN GOD WE TRUST”.
Someone in desperate need is trusting God to provide.
God is trusting YOU to pick up that coin.
Most Americans consider pocket change worthless. Many people leave coins laying in cars, homes, offices and won’t bother picking them up off the street. CoinStar estimates that $10 billion in change is laying around unused. These coins can mean the difference between life and death. We call them “Penny Manna.”
God can take what is considered worthless and magnify it for His Glory.
Please collect abandoned coins and put them to use: We collect Penny Manna in a container at our information Center. It is donated to the Covenant World Relief & Development fund
When you pick up an unused coin, think about the “In God We Trust” inscription, thank God for your blessings, and feel joy in knowing you are making a significant contribution to His Kingdom work.
Hosean International Ministries (HIM)
Their Mission: Empowering Haitians with the Gospel of Jesus Christ thru Education, Life Skills Training, and Economic Growth.
Hosean International Ministries (HIM Haiti) is a ministry by Haitians, for Haitians. It began in 1984 by Haitian National, Caleb Lucien with one purpose in mind: transform lives by pointing people to Jesus Christ through education, life skills training, and economic growth. Over the past 28 years, HIM Haiti has grown to a staff of 150 Haitians working together with international partnerships from America, Brazil, and Canada to bring hope and real help to the people of Haiti. www.hosean.org
ElevateHer International Ministries
Their Mission: Empowering women to heal from trauma and become instruments for healing, peace and hope through large and small group biblically based trauma and life skills training.
ElevateHer began in Haiti, the birthplace of founder, Dieula Previlon, who was inspired by women’s stories and examples of resilience. With the support of her husband, Fresnel and her two dearest friends, Betty and Anide, Dieula launched ElevateHer in 2012 focusing on training in the areas of trauma, bible study methods and comprehension, and leadership development. Today, up to 250 women show up for the large-group training conferences. Their small group leadership training is where the women learn to take their training to their homes, churches, work and community, to bring healing, restoration and hope. www.elevateherinternational.org
Redeemer’s OUTreach Ministry (evangelism + missions) also supports short-term missions through Merge ministries.
