A native of Seattle, Washington, Mark grew up in The Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) at First Covenant Church. He is a proud graduate of the University of Washington and North Park Seminary (the ECC’s seminary). He did his internship at Trinity ECC on the south side of Chicago.
Pastor Mark has a heart for the Bible, evangelism, and racial reconciliation. Things that are exciting to him are: helping others develop spiritual gifts and dreaming up creative ideas for ministry. He brings a sense of humor to the pulpit and to most of what he does. On his off time, you may find Mark training for a marathon, reading at a coffee shop, watching Mad Men, or vacationing in Seattle.
Mark is married to the love of his life, Jessica, who is currently studying to become a licensed professional counselor. They have three children, Max, Ellis, and Cora and live in Carrollton.

Dieula Previlon was Born in Gonaives, Haiti as the fourth daughter to a strong and resilient woman who barely had a third grade education, Dieula’s ministry today stems from her parents sacrificial act of love in tirelessly working to provide opportunities for them to live abundant lives. They immigrated to the United States in the late 70s and she and her siblings later joined them in the late 80s.
Dieula has always felt a strong sense that the Lord was calling her to minister beyond the local Haitian community. She left the Haitian community and went off to college at Rutgers University. Soon after college, she became a middle school teacher as she simultaneously volunteered in many church ministries; from youth, to choir and prayer. She once again left the Haitian community to attend Dallas Theological Seminary with a Masters in Counseling. She later joined staff at Irving Bible Church as the Mission’s Pastor and Director.
She now enjoys ministering in the church, in the local and international community especially to women in Haiti, Africa, and wherever the Lord leads her. She is also the founder and executive director of ElevateHer International Ministries where she and her team empower women to heal from trauma and live fully for Christ. Her passion is to inspire the body to heal, find life after chaos and hope through Jesus Christ.
Dieula is married to her youth group sweetheart, Fresnel. Together they’re the proud parents of 3 sons, Reynel, Justin, and Devin. Together, they enjoy leading missions trips, sitting on the beach, and marveling in our awesome God.
