At Redeemer
For kids in grades K – 5!
Kids Connect is a place where children can connect with God, adults, each other, and the rest of the world through:
- Getting help with homework and reading
- Listening to Bible stories
- Engaging in fun activities
Kids Connect allows parents from ESL, Bible study, Redeemer’s open prayer time, and Iglesia Emanuel’s prayer group to fully focus on their Wednesday night activities.
Our group has decided our last meeting will be Thursday, December 29th. We are grateful for over 10 years of walking alongside each other as we seek healing in Jesus Christ.
If you are looking for a Celebrate Recovery group, check out the group at The Branch Church at 3601 Huffines Blvd. in Carrollton, TX
They meet on Tuesdays: Dinner at 6:15 p.m. and meeting at 7 p.m. Childcare is available. They will be starting men’s and women’s step studies in late January 2023.
We will also invite everyone to a New Year’s Eve party at Redeemer on Saturday, December 31th at 6 p.m.

You are invited to join us for prayer in the Prayer Room on Sunday mornings from 10:00 to 10:30.
(Sorry, there is no childcare at this time.)
Please come worship God with us through prayer, music, biblical teaching, and welcoming each other!
What are services like?
Our worship service begins on Sunday at 10:45 a.m. and ends at around noon. The dress is somewhat casual. There is nursery care for newborns through age 2 and age appropriate worship for children ages 3 through the fifth grade. The typical worship service events flow like this:
- Warm welcome and opening song.
- Pastor’s welcome & a few announcements.
- A time to greet those around you.
- A time of praise & worship songs (praise, hymns, gospel, spiritual songs) accompanied by a band and led by a worship team.
- Prayer
- Offertory
- Scripture reading
- Biblical sermon
- Communion (open style) is on the first Sunday of each month.
- Closing song and benediction
Child Care
Nursery/toddler care for infants (2 years and younger) and toddlers (2-4 years) is available from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Sunday mornings.
Elementary school age children begin with their parents in the worship service and are dismissed during the offertory to go to Children’s Church.
A “Cry Room” is also available at the back of the sanctuary for parents with fussy babies.
Everyone is welcome!
Purpose: to read one book a month and discuss it. We read a wide variety of books (Christian, secular, fiction, non-fiction) — noting how our faith and various experiences impact our understanding.
Come as often as you can: once a year or every month. We usually meet the third Sunday of the month. (Not this June, due to Father’s Day.)
Book for Sunday, June 10, 2018:
