Redeemer Covenant Church in Carrollton, Texas, seeks to be a multi-ethnic community committed to walking alongside anyone seeking healing or wholeness in Jesus Christ. We have an immediate ministry opening for the position of Associate Pastor for Youth and Discipleship. The position is a paid, full-time position.
The Associate Pastor is responsible two areas of ministry at Redeemer Covenant Church. First, the position is responsible for the discipleship of youth (approx. 15-20 students 6th through 12th grades) at Redeemer. Specifically, the part of the position entails planning and leading weekly youth meetings and activities, overseeing volunteers, and investing in the spiritual lives of the youth. Second, the position will be responsible for the oversight of some administrative functions in Redeemer’s discipleship ministry area. This oversight includes input into long-term planning, curriculum decisions, training volunteers, software and database upkeep in the ministry area of discipleship. Ideal candidates will have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ; be able to demonstrate evidence of Christian leadership and maturity; have a passion for youth and discipleship; and demonstrate administrative capabilities. Candidates are expected to have a bachelor’s degree and preferably a Master’s level-degree. Candidates should have experience in youth ministry in a church setting; Candidates should be able to provide references, have a valid driver’s license, pass a criminal background check, and be at least 21 years old.
