What is Family fun Night? It’s a chance for families to play together, eat together, and experience God together.
We will have some fun together as families, followed by dessert.
We will then have a time for the parents to meet and talk about how we might be able to help our children grow as followers of Christ. The children will have their own activities during this time.
Parents, there is a box in the Education Wing’s office for your suggestions, burning questions, or ponderings. What would you like to talk about that night?
Questions? Contact Julie Persson at rjpersson (at) verizon.net.

Be a Good Neighbor!
Saturday, May 30
TIME: 9:00 a.m.
PLACE: The corner of McCoy and Golden Gate
Palisades Point HOA (the neighborhood immediately south of Redeemer) won a grant to improve their entryway sign and landscaping.
Throughout the month of May they will be working on Saturday mornings to put the new improvements in.
They need our help: On May 30 they will be planting larger trees and need some extra hands on deck to help. They will be starting at 9 a.m. on the corner of McCoy and Golden Gate – mere feet from Redeemer’s property.
Not only do we need to be a good neighbor, but the Palisades Point HOA has been incredibly supportive of us. Without them, our land deal may never have passed through Planning and Zoning.
Let’s show our support and be a good neighbor by joining in both on the 30th.
The church office will be closed for the holiday.
We encourage you to pray:
Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always. Remember the wonders He has done, His miracles, and the judgments He pronounced. (1 Chronicles 16:11-12)
Praying for those who have lost loved ones in combat or military service
- For those mourning and hurting from the loss of a loved one
- For the difficult adjustments military families have to make
- For emotional, financial, and practical support for children who have lost a parent and adults who have lost a spouse
Pray for those who have been wounded in military service
- For physical healing and for emotional strength in dealing with a difficult wound
- For adjustment to a new lifestyle, for future opportunities to open up, for employment and provision
- For healing of emotional wounds like post traumatic stress disorder, lingering guilt, or difficulty re-entering society after service
Pray for those in active service in the military
- For them to perform their duties faithfully and honorably
- That their service will help bring about peace and justice
- For their protection and safety
Thank God
- Remembering God’s works and the sacrifice of Jesus for our eternal life
- Remembering God’s blessings and the freedoms we have where we live
- Remembering that God is Lord of all people and holds the whole world in His hands
