Vacation Bible School
Camp Out! Getting S’more of Jesus!
Friday evening, July 21 at 6:00-8:30 p.m.
Saturday evening, July 22 at 6:00-8:30 p.m.
Sunday morning, July 23: Showcase at 10:45 a.m.
Ages: 4 year-olds through 5th grade
Jesus said, “I am the light of the world.” (John 8:12)
The ultimate weekend getaway without leaving town! You won’t need bug spray on this 2-day VBS adventure! CAMP OUT Vacation Bible School is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids will see, hear and touch! Trek through an outdoor adventure full of S’more games, adventures and grins.
The entire family is invited to attend the Sunday morning showcase! The showcase will be held during our 10:45 a.m. service and will feature the songs the children will learn at VBS.
Parents of Pre-Schoolers (4 & 5 year olds): Please sign up early as space is limited for this age group.

Redeemer’s OUTreach Ministry (evangelism + missions) is organizing a “Vision Trip” to visit our new partner in missions, Hosean International Ministries (HIM).
Why: For Redeemer members to connect with HIM and get a feel for the country of Haiti, the HIM ministry, and how we can best serve moving forward.
Where: Pignon, Haiti – 85 miles north of Port-Au-Prince
When: October 12-17, 2018

The church office will be closed for the holiday.
We encourage you to pray:
Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always. Remember the wonders He has done, His miracles, and the judgments He pronounced. (1 Chronicles 16:11-12)
Praying for those who have lost loved ones in combat or military service
- For those mourning and hurting from the loss of a loved one
- For the difficult adjustments military families have to make
- For emotional, financial, and practical support for children who have lost a parent and adults who have lost a spouse
Pray for those who have been wounded in military service
- For physical healing and for emotional strength in dealing with a difficult wound
- For adjustment to a new lifestyle, for future opportunities to open up, for employment and provision
- For healing of emotional wounds like post traumatic stress disorder, lingering guilt, or difficulty re-entering society after service
Pray for those in active service in the military
- For them to perform their duties faithfully and honorably
- That their service will help bring about peace and justice
- For their protection and safety
Thank God
- Remembering God’s works and the sacrifice of Jesus for our eternal life
- Remembering God’s blessings and the freedoms we have where we live
- Remembering that God is Lord of all people and holds the whole world in His hands

The movie, “I Still Believe” (2020) directed by Andrew Erwin & Jon Erwin, will begin shortly after 6:00.

Saturday, December 31 at 6:00 to midnight.
Everyone is welcome for a free evening of fun! – A safe place for the whole family to celebrate the New Year!
Please come as you are to join us as we ring in the new year together. Refreshments will be provided.
If you want: bring your favorite games, the kids in their jammies, pillows and sleeping bag, or a favorite snack/soft drink.
Here’s the plan:
6:00 p.m. Free taco dinner. (Please RSVP at [email protected] so we can have an idea of how many to plan for.)
7:00 p.m. Free movie: Family Camp (2022) – directed by Brian Cates – rated PG
9:00 p.m. Game time – Bring your favorite games, if you want!
