“Humbug! Christmas in Kragerville”
An original play written and directed by Cassie Watson and performed by Redeemer members, CREW youth group, and Performers Edge students
ADMISSION: Donation of any size to Redeemer youth ministry.*
Play Summary: Kragerville’s namesake, Elizabeth Krager (Marilou Castelli), is an unpleasant, reclusive, real estate tycoon who does not have one friend in the world… Unless you ask little Lindsey Lin (Lourelle Jensen) who lives a block away. To Lindsey, Krager is her BFF… to Krager, this little girl is a menace. It’s in the relationships, or lack thereof, Krager has with Lindsey, Molly (Krager’s estranged sister played by Cindy Martin), and Krager’s eager and nerdy assistant, that we see the life of a woman who is in need of a miracle to become anything other than the tyrant she is. Taking a page (or twenty) from the classic novel, A Christmas Carol, we are introduced to some fun characters and exciting situations in this year’s original play: HUMBUG! CHRISTMAS IN KRAGERVILLE.
*All proceeds go to help support Redeemer’s youth ministry activities like their 2015 CHIC conference in Knoxville, TN.

Merry Christmas! Please join us for worship at 10:45 this morning!
A Christmas Prayer
by Robert Louis Stevenson
Loving Father,
Help us remember the birth of Jesus,
that we may share in the song of the angels,
the gladness of the shepherds,
and worship of the wise men.
Close the door of hate
and open the door of love all over the world.
Let kindness come with every gift
and good desires with every greeting.
Deliver us from evil by the blessing
which Christ brings,
and teach us to be merry with clear hearts.
May the Christmas morning
make us happy to be thy children,
and Christmas evening bring us to our beds
with grateful thoughts,
forgiving and forgiven,
for Jesus’ sake.
Amen.
The church office will be closed for the holiday.
We encourage you to pray:
Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always. Remember the wonders He has done, His miracles, and the judgments He pronounced. (1 Chronicles 16:11-12)

Three ways to give:
- Bring FOOD: Non-Perishable Foods and Personal Hygiene products for the Metrocrest Services Pantry to help our neighbors directly with tangible goods that are desperately needed.
- Bring SCHOOL SUPPLIES: Even though the 2020-2021 school year is underway, there are still needs to fill. Consider bringing disinfecting wipes, gallon zip lock bags, #2 pencils, crayons, markers, highlighters, notebooks, construction paper etc.. The school supplies will be distributed to kids in need through Communities In School of North Texas.
- Make a MONETARY DONATION: You can donate money which will be given to Metrocrest. In the past we have donated money to help with back to school, and Hearts & Soles . This year, they are asking for money to help keep their pantry stocked due to the current needs in the community. If you wish to donate, you can donate in person, or online at RedeemerECC.org; If you are giving online please mark the box Hearts&Soles/Back to School as your designation.
