Community Outreach
Each fall for the past 6 years Redeemer has intentionally shut down our Sunday worship for one week in order to do outreach and evangelism in our community. We called this Harvest Sunday.
This year will be a different twist on that idea. Having sensed the Holy Spirit nudging us to step out in faith, we will be intentionally reaching out to nearby apartment residents.
10:45 a.m. – Special Worship Service** at church
11:15 a.m. – Head to the apartments to host a free barbecue lunch for all of the residents! (We will drive/carpool to nearby apartments.)
Watch for signups in the church foyer to help with the various activities.
**PLEASE NOTE: Sunday school classes and Children’s Church will not meet.
**Nursery care will be provided during the service only.
**There will be no evening service this year.
The whole church and our neighboring community are invited!
Church-wide event!
Board games, open mic night, art, coffee and non-coffee drinks, and more!
Entry: $5 per person. Beverages and snacks will be on sale. Karaoke for $1/song beginning at 9 p.m.
WANTED: Musicians, poets, comedians, singers, etc., to sign up for 10-minute sets at Open Mic Night!
Also, we need artwork to show! If you’re an artist, please bring your masterpieces to decorate our Coffeehouse!
Sponsored by CREW Youth Group.
The church office will be closed for the holiday.
We encourage you to pray:
Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always. Remember the wonders He has done, His miracles, and the judgments He pronounced. (1 Chronicles 16:11-12)

Pray for those in active service in the military
- For them to perform their duties faithfully and honorably
- That their service will help bring about peace and justice
