Be The Bridge small group study
Sundays at 4:00-5:30 p.m.
The Racial Reconciliation Group no longer is having its ongoing monthly meetings this fall.
Instead, we are doing something new: an 8-week commitment to weekly meetings using Be the Bridge curriculum to guide us as we seek God’s heart for unity in a racially divided society.
The group is full for this fall, but keep an eye in the spring to form another one!

Pray NOW 2 – Night of Worship
Saturday, November 3rd at 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Join us for an hour of family friendly worship on the lawn between the playground and Harvest Community Garden.
We will have live music, serve individually-wrapped Holy Communion, and set up some tables for families to allow little ones to do activities.
Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets, water, bug spray, and whatever you need to be comfortable outdoors in the evening.
We will continue to follow CDC guidelines to help keep each other safe: Wear masks, keep 6 feet from non-family members, sanitize your hands, etc.
This is Council’s regular business meeting for November. They will meet via Zoom.
The church office will be closed for the holiday.
We encourage you to pray:
Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always. Remember the wonders He has done, His miracles, and the judgments He pronounced. (1 Chronicles 16:11-12)
Praying for those who have lost loved ones in combat or military service
- For those mourning and hurting from the loss of a loved one
- For the difficult adjustments military families have to make
- For emotional, financial, and practical support for children who have lost a parent and adults who have lost a spouse
Pray for those who have been wounded in military service
- For physical healing and for emotional strength in dealing with a difficult wound
- For adjustment to a new lifestyle, for future opportunities to open up, for employment and provision
- For healing of emotional wounds like post traumatic stress disorder, lingering guilt, or difficulty re-entering society after service
Pray for those in active service in the military
- For them to perform their duties faithfully and honorably
- That their service will help bring about peace and justice
- For their protection and safety
Thank God
- Remembering God’s works and the sacrifice of Jesus for our eternal life
- Remembering God’s blessings and the freedoms we have where we live
- Remembering that God is Lord of all people and holds the whole world in His hands
