Everyone is invited as we join our sister church, Bethel Bible Fellowship, for a potluck luncheon!
Come hang out for as long as you like, 10 minutes or an hour
Make new friends and build current friendships.
We will keep our worship service short so that we can all head over to Bethel immediately following church. We will provide maps in the foyer that day.
Help us plan: if you sign up to let us know what you may bring, we can make sure we don’t end up with only desserts for lunch (although, that might not be all bad…).
March 19, 2017 Sunday after worship
Fellowship Hall @ 12:15 -1:15 pm
This is a once a year training for all volunteers working with children under 18 years old.
- Fellowship and connect with other workers
- Get familiar with our policies and guidelines
- Lunch will be served
This training is required for all child workers. So, if you cannot make it to this meeting, please contact Mary Anne Jensen to arrange a different time for training.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
The church office is closed.
A Christmas Prayer
by Robert Louis Stevenson
Loving Father,
Help us remember the birth of Jesus,
that we may share in the song of the angels,
the gladness of the shepherds,
and worship of the wise men.
Close the door of hate
and open the door of love all over the world.
Let kindness come with every gift
and good desires with every greeting.
Deliver us from evil by the blessing
which Christ brings,
and teach us to be merry with clear hearts.
May the Christmas morning
make us happy to be thy children,
and Christmas evening bring us to our beds
with grateful thoughts,
forgiving and forgiven,
for Jesus’ sake.
Amen.
