Redeemer’s Book Club is meeting via Zoom.
Purpose: to build friendships and understanding as we learn from each other by discussing one book a month. We read a wide variety of books (Christian, secular, fiction, non-fiction) — noting how our faith and various experiences impact our understanding and perspectives. To help people in our community, we are collecting supplies to donate to Metrocrest Services for their pantry and their Back to School help for local families.
Drop off donations at the church parking lot on Saturday morning between 8:00 and Noon.
We are collecting school supplies for Metrocrest Services fall school drive. Needed items are:
- See Carrollton/Farmers Branch ISD school supply lists here.
- Backpacks
- Lined paper, notebooks, spirals
- Pencils, pens, markers, crayons
- Glue sticks, scissors
We are also collecting non-perishable food and personal hygiene items for the Metrocrest Pantry. Needed for the Pantry:
- See their most needed list here.
- Toilet paper, Kleenex, feminine products
- Diapers and baby care items, adult diapers
- Shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, body wash
- Laundry and dish soaps
- Canned foods
- Dry/boxed foods (Mac & cheese, cereal, rice, beans, peas)
