Smack Him! Fundraiser for The Journey
Which pastor gets the pie in the face? Donate to choose! Give in person or online to Redeemer Covenant Church designated to “The Journey” + the name of the pastor you want to get “smacked!”
• Write checks to Redeemer Covenant Church. On the memo line write: The Journey for Pastor (Mark or Tre’).
• Give online – choose the Youth missions/CREW summer trip category and for the note, write “The Journey for Pastor (Mark or Tre’)” https://redeemerecc.org/online-giving/
• Put your donation in an envelope marked “The Journey for Pastor (Tre’ or Mark)” and put it in the giving box in the church lobby.
The pastor who makes the most money for the fundraiser will get a pie in the face after the worship service on May 29th!
The church office will be closed for the holiday.
We encourage you to pray:
Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always. Remember the wonders He has done, His miracles, and the judgments He pronounced. (1 Chronicles 16:11-12)
Praying for those who have lost loved ones in combat or military service
- For those mourning and hurting from the loss of a loved one
- For the difficult adjustments military families have to make
- For emotional, financial, and practical support for children who have lost a parent and adults who have lost a spouse
Pray for those who have been wounded in military service
- For physical healing and for emotional strength in dealing with a difficult wound
- For adjustment to a new lifestyle, for future opportunities to open up, for employment and provision
- For healing of emotional wounds like post traumatic stress disorder, lingering guilt, or difficulty re-entering society after service
Pray for those in active service in the military
- For them to perform their duties faithfully and honorably
- That their service will help bring about peace and justice
- For their protection and safety
Thank God
- Remembering God’s works and the sacrifice of Jesus for our eternal life
- Remembering God’s blessings and the freedoms we have where we live
- Remembering that God is Lord of all people and holds the whole world in His hands
Join us as we begin the Advent season with a breakfast together and decorate the church for Christmas!
Instead of having an Advent dinner, we will have an Advent Breakfast on Saturday, December 3rd at 8:30 a.m.
We will begin with breakfast in Fellowship Hall. Our men will be preparing breakfast for us all. Bring a breakfast dish to share, if you want.
After breakfast we will have a festive time decorating the church for Christmas.
Everyone is invited!
The church office will be closed for the holiday.
