Happy 4th of July!
The church office will be closed for the holiday. We encourage you to take some time to pray for our country.
Pray for spiritual renewal in our country
- That God’s Spirit would unleash revival in our country
- That we turn from our sins and seek His face
Pray for healing in our very fragmented country
- For cooperation in congress and among political factions
- For healing amongst the races
Pray for economic renewal
- For jobs for those who are unemployed or under-employed
- For provision for the needy and for the agencies that help them
That businesses would follow godly practices and receive God’s blessings
- Pray for our nation’s influence among the world’s nations
- For wisdom in our foreign policy
- That we would use our power and resources for good in the world
Pray for safety this Fourth of July
- Protection from firework injuries and fires
- Protection from drunk driving
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. (1 Timothy 2:1-2)
