Thanksgiving Service
Sunday, November 17, 10:45 a.m.
Thanksgiving is a holiday often celebrated with family and close friends enjoying a meal together, we at Redeemer want to expand our definition of family to include our brothers and sisters in Christ and celebrate Thanksgiving together. We will have a special worship service as we reflect on the goodness of God and collectively thank him for His many blessings in our lives.
Thanksgiving Meal
Immediately following the Thanksgiving worship service (about 11:30 a.m.), we will continue our worship by breaking bread together as we partake in a free Thanksgiving feast.
The turkey will be provided. Side dishes and desserts are potluck…please sign up in the lobby.
We’re looking for volunteers to help with set up (round tables and chairs), decorations, meal preparation, and clean up.
Sign up in the lobby to make this experience a success! Questions? Contact Pastor Dieula at [email protected]
Happy Thanksgiving!
We hope that everyone enjoys time with family and friends as we take a break from our regular activities to give thanks to God for all He has done for us and for all His blessings.
The church office will be closed Thursday and Friday.
There will be no Wednesday evening activities this week.
There will be no Celebrate Recovery meeting this week.
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Thanking God…

For relationships: people to celebrate Thanksgiving with, finding long lost friends (on Facebook!), parents, best friends, siblings, all children, teachers, new people we’ve met this past year, friendships at church, accountability partners, extended family, neighbors, co-workers, employers, spouse, …
For spiritual blessings: God loves us (even when we forget to do devotions!), He gives us spiritual gifts, He is developing the fruit of the Spirit in us, His mercies are new every morning, He gives us strength, comfort, and peace—even in the midst of hard times, He keeps on forgiving us, He empowers us to do good and gives us purpose, He gives us discernment, wisdom, and direction, He never leaves us, …
