Palm Sunday, April 14
Worship Service at 10:45 a.m.
Palm Sunday, or “Passion Sunday,” acknowledges the momentary elation of the followers of Jesus as He rode into the city of Jerusalem one week prior to Easter Sunday. Redeemer’s children help us celebrate this day with a processional of waving palm branches.

Celebrate Recovery, April 18
Thursday at 6:15 – 9:30 p.m.
Celebrate Recovery meets as usual.
Good Friday, April 19
Tenebrae Service at 7:30 p.m.
On Good Friday, we remember Christ’s suffering and death. His self-sacrifice is good to us who believe because it paid for our debt of sin and opened the way for our reconciliation with God.
The Service of Tenebrae (“shadows”) uses the gradual extinguishing of the lights and candles to symbolize the flight of the apostles and the darkness and disturbance that accompanied Christ’s passion. The central purpose of the service is for us to encounter the reality of Christ’s death and admit our part in it.
Holy Saturday, April 20
Spring Cleaning, Cook Out, & Easter Egg Hunt!
9:30 a.m. Redeemer Beautification!
We will begin the day with the opportunity to work together to prepare our grounds and building for Easter and beyond. Bring the family and help with playground and garden upkeep or odd jobs inside the church.
11:30 a.m. Cookout!
Everyone is welcome to join us for a free lunch of grilled hotdogs, chips, drinks, & dessert. Invite your neighbors and friends!
Easter Egg Hunt
Following the Lunch we will host an Easter Egg Hunt for the children. They will begin with activities in the church sanctuary (while volunteers “hide” the Easter eggs in the field). Then they will receive instructions for the egg hunt.
Easter Sunday – April 21
Easter Sunday is the most glorious of all days and begins the Christian season of Eastertide, the season celebrating the fact that Jesus is alive and death has been conquered! This is critical because the Christian hope of eternal life is contingent upon the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Easter season lasts for fifty days and centers on the resurrection appearances of the Lord between Easter Sunday and His ascension.
Please join us for Redeemer’s Easter Celebrations:
Easter Brunch Potluck at 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Bring your whole family and invite your friends and neighbors! Please join us for this joyful celebration of Christ’s resurrection. If you are able, bring a dish to share. If not, please join us anyway!
